A straightforward second opinion on your portfolio

Already have an advisor and not sure the plan still fits? Tim reviews what you hold, what it costs you, and whether it still matches what you are trying to do.

The problem

When you are not sure what you own

Statements arrive every quarter, but they rarely answer the questions that matter: what you are paying, how much risk you are carrying, and whether any of it connects to your goals. Asking your current advisor can feel awkward. A second opinion from someone outside the arrangement is easier.

What the review covers

What Tim looks at

  • Holdings

What you own, where it is held, and how the pieces fit together.

  • Costs

Fees and product costs, in dollars as well as percentages.

  • Risk

How much risk the portfolio carries, and whether that suits your timeline.

  • Fit with your goals

Whether the portfolio still lines up with what you want your money to do.

  • Plain findings

A clear summary of what Tim found, whether or not you decide to work together.

How it works

How a review works

Bring your recent statements to an introductory meeting. Tim reviews them and walks you through what he found. You decide what, if anything, happens next.

Who it is for

For people who already have an advisor

People with investments at a bank, a national firm or another advisor, who want an independent look before deciding anything.

I came in for a second opinion on my portfolio. He was straightforward about what it was costing me and whether it still matched what I needed, and there was no pressure either way.
